How do we live our best life?

Sissy's, we need to talk... Quiet often most of us run at such a high pace that it is impossible for our brains (and bodies) to keep up. We live in a world where achievements matter more than our own health and we tend to neglect the signals that our bodies send to us. In all honesty I do think that we are responsible for our own health and that we have the power to live a life that will nourish both our minds, body's and souls. It is all a question about priority where you look at your life and ask yourself "am I truly happy?", "am I treating myself with respect" and "am I following my heart and making decisions based on what will make me feel good?".  To ask yourself if you're actually happy is scary - I know. Whenever I get that itchy feeling in my body signalling that there is something in my life that I need to change I tend to shy away from asking myself what, simply because being honest and true to myself is one of the scariest things I know! But I do also know that I have to do it... It is often in those moments that I need to stop completely, slow down my life and focus all my energy on myself for a while.   My main drive when it comes to listening to my heart rather than those around me is that I want to live MY best life. I want to be the best possible version of myself and that is something I can only be if I dare to challenge myself and the way that I live.  If you're currently feeling that itchy feeling in your body that I just mentioned I truly encourage you to ask yourselves what truly makes you happy. So, get your note book out, make a big cup of tea, light some candles and get ready to write whatever comes to mind. Maybe its a relationship in your life that's steeling too much energy or you've forgotten to take care of yourself lately. Independent of what it is, give yourself time to reflect on it because you deserve the best ♥
