Into The Woods

I have really realised lately how nice it is and also much needed for the soul to get out of the city every now and then. Even if it’s just for the day I feel like I recharge my batteries and relax for a bit. The air is so fresh and the pasted is just not as hectic as in the city.   Last weekend I went to Richmond again. It’s easy to get there and close to London, yet it feels like you’re in the countryside. After enjoying a delicious lunch at an Italian restaurant we rented some bikes by the water. We cycled around in the park and saw some super cute and tame deer so I just had to stop. I was so close to them! After a while, we arrived at Isabella Plantation, a beautiful woodland garden in Richmond Park. All flowers weren't in bloom yet or they wilted already but I felt so harmonic there. More day trips are coming up for sure! I have to admit bicycling in hills up and down really made me exhausted, my legs felt like jelly in the evening, haha but it was fun. I love bicycling but with the crazy traffic in London, I don't dare to bike to work.   xoxo
