DINNER AT DADS.

Yesterday I was invited over to dads for dinner. It has been super hot in Stockholm but the forecast said rain - so I was ready with my cute umbrella. My cute umbrella that fell apart half way to dads 🙄 I made it to dads half dry, knocked on the wrong door but finally made my way to theirs and the overflowing with flowers-balcony. It smelled amazing out there.  This yellow facade is pretty much the most Stockholm-looking thing I can think of. Pretty, right? :)  Dad poured dry, white wine and served up a super Swedish starter: skagen toast. Skagen is a creamy shrimp topping, perfect on a bit of toast with dill & lemon. Also, I love this table 😍 I was a tad tired after a fun night out but in a very chipper mood :)  One passion dad and I share is food, we go out for dinner pretty much every time we meet up (somewhere in the world) and if I’m invited to his and Helena’s (his ~lady friend~) I know that’s there’s a good meal coming my way. Last night it was this pasta with garlic, Parmesan, olive a and lemon zest. Dad apologised for not feeding me steak (he knows me well) but this was a perfect summer meal :)  Swedish strawberries and ice cream for dessert! I swear, Swedish strawberries are the best in the world. When they’re in season they’re so incredibly juicy and sweet.  I wandered back to moms in the evening sun (my umbrella tossed in the nearest bin). Beautiful night.  Today it was errand time. Imagine my disappointment when my schedule was completely thrown off by the by that the passport place opens at 11.30 not 8 as I thought on Mondays đŸ˜© consoled myself with a halloumi burger. It was ok.  Wandered past a beautiful little hidden cemetery, perked me up a bit. Managed to finish all my errands in the end, now I’m sat on a train heading towards GĂ€vle! Sweden rock is getting closer!! đŸ€˜đŸ€˜đŸ€˜
