HEATSTROKE IN THE CITY

Back from Piscine Pailleron (nicest one of the public pools in Paris I think, and a ten minute walk from ours yay) and sitting by the window with my feet soaking in an icy cold bath, an attempt to get them back to some sort of sense of normalcy. They've been so swollen and sore after these two festivals, and tomorrow is a full day of work on my feet so need to be able to stand by then. Come on feet, we can do it!  In the meantime I'm eating chilled watermelon, is there anything nicer in summer? Tell me tell me in that case!  Hand washed and am currently drying two little chiffon tops in the window, don't really want to wear anything else at all in this heat. Also, I <3 our bedroom window.  D. and I started a pinterest board filled with summery, fresh recipes - I just want salad, citrusy things and fish, crispy edamame beans, yeah you get the idea. Check out the board here and feel very free to come with recipe ideas in the comment section below!! <3Tonight chicken & kale-salad is on the menu, just waiting for the sun to ease off a bit!
