PANEER BUTTER MASALA AND ABSINTH.

Today I finally got my SD card converter! I understand that this means nothing to you guys, but for me it smooths up posting photos & blogs by SO MUCH. Because my new laptop only has a micro card reader I always had to upload my photos via D's computer, then access them from mine - now I can just upload them straight to mine, woho! End of probably super boring stuff, on to a fun Friday night out!  For you who don't know, Duncan has recently become a vegetarian. So on Friday night we decided to try one of the all vegetarian Indian restaurants up the road from us!  We started out with a Kingfisher for me, and a Cobra for D.  The Cobra was impossibly smooth :))))  I was hungry but happy to be out at a cosy restaurant on a Friday night! D. used to work every weekend, but now he's got both Friday and Saturday night off, yay ❤ We started with a couple of samosas, something I often think tastes a bit bland and just sort of the same, but these ones were very nice! Lots of flavour, nice crispy outside, came with three yummy sauces to dip in. Good start!  Then - the main! Paneer butter masala with rice & cheese parotta, best Indian meal I've eaten in a while! I expected the paneer dish to taste just like butter chicken but with cheese instead (would not have minded this at all, I love butter chicken and I love paneer) but it had so much more depth to it. Absolutely loved every bite, and that cheese parotta, aaaah. My mouth is watering a bit just thinking about it. We've definitely found a new regular spot!  With a tip, we paid 20 euros each - now that's including beer, starter and delicious main. Can't get much better than that I think. Krishna Bhavan, we'll be back!  After dinner we wandered around the area a bit, and found a street food stand! Duncan has mentioned these before but I've never seen them in action, we had to have a closer look of course.  Not that we were hungry at all, but when the guy whipped up a plate of tasty little pani puris for only 2 euros we had to try... great little after dinner treat, haha!  Next stop: Johan's! Kat was back from Australia!!!!!! YAAAAY! I've missed her so much ❤ I'm used to seeing her numerous times per week, and we definitely message every day, so when she was suddenly on the other side of the world for weeks it felt really empty here. So happy to have her back, and she brought treats for everyone! :)))  The rest of the night was spent at the bar, indulging in bad idea after bad idea, haha.. a fun night, which led to an extremely not fun Saturday 😱 but sometimes it's gotta be worth it, right??
