WEDNESDAY AT SWEDEN ROCK.

Wednesday was the first "real" day at Sweden Rock (we woke up there & it was the first day of actual gigs), Simon kicked things off by breaking a chair ><  We were visiting some of his friends at another campground - we had tried to go see them the previous night but got completely lost in the dark and gave up fairly quickly.. attempt number two was more successful :)  It was another amazingly sunny day - this is worth going on about as it makes SUCH a difference when you're at a festival, camping & completely exposed to the elements. Also, apparently I loved photographing the parking lot :)))  The years first pork fillet!!!!! Simon and I hiked in to the festival area with our 4 day passes (Alex and some other of our friends had 3 day passes and had to hold on until Thursday) specifically for this - best meal at the festival, easily. I think we had three goes this year. Mmm.  After we'd devoured our meat & had a quick stroll around the area we headed back to camp, where twister was in full swing!  I had already befriended the glitter-people at this stage and was happy as can be!! A friend of mine said that he was surprised to hear that metal & glitter mix, I got so many compliments and people asking where I got it done and could they do beards too?? Love rockers <3 <3 <3 friendliest people in the world! Alex (one of our friends "the strawhats", but duh) had come prepared with a full taco kit! Taking notes for next year..  When darkness fell it was time for the very first concert!!!  Swedish band Hardcore Superstar! Great way to kick things off!! (also: GLITTER) We stood up on the little hill and shouted along to LAST CALL FOR ALCOHOL and other equally great tunes :)))  On the way back to camp Simon was pumped to keep the beer flowing and the party going. Two minutes after sitting down in this comfy chair he was out for the night :))) That concludes a Wednesday at Sweden Rock! Hopefully I'll be able to get Thursday up tomorrow as I'm off to the next festival the day after... hehe. No rest for the wicked! Goodnight loves!
