Celebrate Valentine's Day as a Single

VALENTINE'S DAY IS TOMORROW! And guess what, many people are single on that day... including me. But honestly, why do you need a date when you can have fun by yourself or with your friends and family? I have never really done something recent years, when I had a boyfriend we used to celebrate together by grabbing a coffee or ice cream, but recently I kind of have just been tagging along with my parents on their valentine's dinner. However, this year I felt like organizing something for myself. Therefore, I decided to have a dinner for one of my closest friend groups. I decorated with pink, and gave out goodie bags with chocolate. I think it ended up looking pretty nice, and I love to have themed dinners so it was really enjoyable to decorate as well. The dinner was a three-course, starting with an aperitivo (which was just lemon tea or ginger ale). Then we moved on to the appetizer, a caprese. The main course was a vegetarian lasagna with only veggies. Lastly, dessert was frozen cheesecake, and a cupcake. They spent the night as well, which was really cozy since we had more time to just hang out and watch a movie. Overall, never think that Valentine's day can't be fun just because you don't have a partner, organize an event to feel the joy of the day anyways!XOXO,G
