Take Time Off

So lots of people are stressed, trust me, I get that. I get stressed quite a lot but I always find ways to relieve myself. Mental health is such an important factor in everyone's life but I don't think enough people realize that what they do actually really impacts their mental health. Although there are different components of mental health, I will specifically talk about stress today. It can actually increase age, acne and anxiety. As I said, I sometimes get super duper stressed, especially with all the summative assignments and homework I receive, but I'm here to tell you how to decrease your amount of stress. 1. Breathe in 3 counts and out 3 counts for 5 minutes2. Take a break from what work/thing is making you stressed out3. Watch your favorite tv series! (Mine right now is Degrassi: The Next Generation)4. Workout (I know this doesn't work for everyone but for some people it does)5. Scream into a pillow/hit a pillow6. Do something you enjoy doing7. Take a small nap8. Draw/color in9. Listen to music10. Just thinkI hope these tips helped you in one way or another. This is what I found works really well for me and for my friends. I hope it applies to you as well! Overall, if your really stressed, you can take a mental health day (a day in which you cancel all activities and just relax). This will help you relieve your stress. XOXO,G
