Before & After Interior Redesign-No Cost Decorating

I'm getting ready to do an interior redesign on a living room and an interior redesign is where I take the homeowners existing furnishings and I give them a fresh new look with w hat they already own.  that means I don't buy a thing so come on in, I want to show you the before and we're going to meet the homeowners.  so parisa and Eric welcome to transformation Thursday are you all excited , we are thanks for having us.  yeah well thank you for letting me do your living room I'm excited to get my hands on it. so tell me a little bit about how you function in this room, because I know you have a small baby . we do we have a one-year-old and so we use the room kind of for two reasons the first we utilize the floor space a lot when baby's awake and we're playing with her sitting down on the floor . then we also love to entertain and so we use the seating when we have guests over which is a lot . so you have a lot of family that comes over family friends.  yeah …. and it is the living room right off the kitchen, so this is probably the main gathering space it is the main gathering spirit . yeah ,so what do you like about the room is there anything that you don't like about the room I like that it feels large it feels like a big room with the high ceilings what I don't like about the room is we didn't put too much thought into designing it.  we picked furniture pieces that we liked and we just kind of pushed it up against the walls and that's it so it doesn't feel like there's much depth to the room okay so you're going to be leaving and coming back in a few hours and this place is going to be transformed great  so right now in this living room all of the furnitures pressed up against the walls I call it the doctor's waiting room effect so how I'm going to address that is I'm going to pull the furniture off the wall create some interesting angles and create more of an intimate conversation area  I like to call it the campfire effect so first I'm going to empty the room so I'm not influenced by anything that's here I'm definitely going to keep the rug  because it's a Persian heirloom and it's the perfect size for the space at this point I've pulled the couches and furniture off the wall putting it in a V creating more visual interest and I've created seating for nine people got all the big pieces of furniture back in the room now I'm on the hunt for lighting and accessories the room is complete I've addressed the doctor's waiting room effect by pulling the furniture off the walls putting it on an angle to add visual interest and to create a more intimate inviting seating arrangement plus I gathered a bunch of accessories from around the house to finish off the space now the room really invites you to come in sit down and put your feet up so my homeowners Eric and parisa are on their way home let's get the reaction oh my gosh Wow oh my gosh I never would have imagined this this looks great this is proper okay, so do you all realize you have shaving in here now for nine people Wow now yeah yeah right yes also by putting the furniture on an angle it adds a lot more visual interest instead of the doctor's waiting room effect right ?  I'll pressed up against the wall uh-huh yes I thought an ottoman would be good appear can maybe can now crawl around on it and rather bang the head on it right here  moves in now too so that's good the chairs are lovely and admire all this beautiful nail head trim from the back right mm-hmm and then it'll be pillows in there and invite you into the room you go yeah double seating areas yeah and I use everything wow that you own welcome home to transformation well thank you so muchReference www.baja-ringan.com
