Paper Perfect at the castle

Week two of the introduction for the new students is almost done but tomorrow is the most exiting day were the new student go from zeros to first year students and the evening is complete with a fancy dinner. But yesterday we didnt have school in the day and the introduction activity wasnt until in the evening, so we visited Kalmar Castle. First we ate hamburger in the sun by the harbour. I love the little shop at the castle. They have so beautiful and different things. The exhibit we really wanted to see was this beauty. Its an exhibit of royal dresses from the renowned family of the Italian Renaissance, the Medici family. A ballroom filled with extravagance and magnificent creations al made out of paper.  It is the Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave whom made the renaissance pieces and really bring the Medicis Lifestyle and fashion to life. Ofcourse we also walked through the rest of the beautiful castle. Kalmar castle really is amazing and the two pictures above are from my two favourite rooms the blue corner room and the castles church.
