SWAROVSKI RHINESTONES

How to attach Swarovski rhinestones to fabric?  You can either buy regular Swarovski rhinestones (foiled, not hotfix) and glue them to the fabric. They're a bit cheaper than hotfix ones BUT you'll also have to buy some glue. Also, the result isn't as nice as if you used hotfix rhinestones, because once the glue dries you'll see ugly yellow or white spots on the fabric and we do not want that, do we?Hotfix is a lot better option, you don't have to glue the rhinestones but you just iron them to the fabric! It's very simple, quick and easy! Because the rhinestones are made of glass (real Swarovski) they won't melt if you iron them.Simply just create your own design and then iron over the rhinestones, carefully! No wiping, just put the iron there for few seconds and then carefully lift the iron. Before you start attaching the rhinestones to your beautiful dress, scarf or abaya, always try attaching one rhinestone first on a little piece of fabric you don't need anymore. Also make sure the fabric can be ironed, some fabrics are so delicate they'll only burn if you'll iron them (some delicate polyester kind of man-made materials especially). The product I use the most is 028 Xilion rose, sizes SS12, SS16 and SS20. Available in various colors and effects.
