Out somewhere in the Masai Mara.  Lets take a moment to talk about Kenya. Before I met Rhain I did not know much about this country apart from what the Lion King thought me. Now it has come to be one of my favorite places on earth and a place called home away from home. I am so lucky to have met someone that has really showed me the beauty of this country and I would recommend anyone to go if given the chance. This is why I convinced my family to join us last Christmas when the destination was set for Kenya and wow what a trip we had.  Part of the garden at my boyfriends beautiful home  We started the trip by celebrating Christmas at my boyfriends house, where his mom had organized amazing Indian food that we all enjoyed. Not the typical christmas food haha but it was amazing and we all had so much fun. The next day we picked up Rhains grandmother and husband to do one litlle stop before heading out to the Masai Mara..  Me and Beautiful Ndotto, who is now much bigger than on the picture here..  We stopped by David Sheldrick, a wildlife trust who takes care of orphanage elephants. For example elephants who's families have been killed by poachers and so on. Here you can give a donation and adopt one of these wonderful animals, which we did. We adopted Ndotto, who my whole family fell in love with and every month we get updates on how he is doing.  My brother got to be the pilot for a bit, he was very excited.. :)  After that we flew out to the Masai Mara where we stayed in different camps and lodges for several days experiencing the Kenyan wildlife which is truly amazing.  When a lion decides to photobomb your selfie...  One of the beautiful place we stayed at.  Rhains mom had also organized so many cool things for us to do, a helicopter tour, hot air ballooning and visiting a native village just to mention a few of the things.  My first time flying helicopter without doors, such a cool experience.  My first time ever doing hot air ballooning..   Kenya is absolutely one of my favorite places I have been so far. Being able to experience it with someone local is just something that I have been extremely lucky to do and I am so happy that I also got to show this beautiful place to my family. Me and Rhain both agree on that it would be amazing to sometime in the future have either a house or actually live there. If you ever get the chance, go go go! You will for sure not regret it. :)
