FIRST DAY IN HELL.

I'm back in Paris from festival summer! Very strange feeling that it's already over - the three festivals that I've been looking forward to for the past year. Having said that it's pretty nice to be back in civilisation.. I never appreciate the little things like a shower & a bed with nice smelling sheets as much as just after the festivals. I've had enough time to recuperate now, so let's head right back in to it, shall we?  On Thursday last week (exactly one week ago!) we met up with our friend Guillaume and his friend Laura, bright and early in the suburb of Massy Palaiseau. Packed the car in the it WILL FIT-way. It fit :)  A few excited hours later we had made it to Clisson! D. got out cold beers & proceeded to pack up our massive amount of stuff.  Very happy when he succeeded :D I insisted on being a teamplayer and lugged the huge backpack up to the festival. Equals and all that :)))  The sky was clear blue and we squished in to the line for the entrance. The others were disgruntled by the amount of people but I was very happy, remembering last year when we waited for hours and hours to get in. Much better this year!  Two happy girls and a disgruntled Guillaume. Hehe.  How cool is their setup?? So much time and effort must have gone in to designing and setting everything up, I'm amazed every year.  They've even made the marshall amps go up to eleven :D  Well arrived at camp someone managed to kind of blow up the impossible to blow up-sofa, D. relaxed.  We camped with the group that Carro and I have gone with for the past couple of years, a great big group of french people who have mostly found each other through this festival.  Then we went to check out Metal Corner :D It's a kind of nightclub where there are gigs, shows, a bar etc. Great spot.  These two approved.  After a few hours of wandering around the area, checking out the merch, drinking beer, lounging in the sun, we were back at Metal corner <3 this time with Francis!  And Kevin on the left! We're a good looking little group, haha!  We drunk more beer, jumped around like little nuts to System of a down-covers and were all around very happy to be back in hell :)))) Today things are back to normal, the sun is shining in Paris and I'm about to go pick up a couple of kids in school. More festival-memories coming your way very soon!
