LAST OF MUMMA BEARS VISIT

One week ago mom was still in town, let's have a look at her visit through my camera lens! I've been lazy with the cameras lately, preferring to just use my phone instead. Since my computer died and I don't have photoshop anymore it just hasn't felt as much fun - but I'll get back in to the habit, promise! I do love it. Anyway, here's a pic from a little garden in the Marais. Love the windows full of greenery.  The sun was shining but it wasn't sweltering hot, unlike today: 35 degrees and full on sun. Phew.  We had time for an ice cream stop in Montmartre. Here, mom, Duncan & Kat uhm-ing and aw-ing over the menu. So many choices...  Kat <3 we bonded over 90s euro dance tracks a late night at Wos all those years ago. Very grateful for that.  Mom finally landed on some kind of carrot-flavour!  I've said it before: I don't know anyone who loves ice cream more than my mumma bear <3  Later on that afternoon we were back home, drinking ice cold gin cocktails. Mom tried to photograph her drink and I photographed her :)  Cheers! Her last night here we went for dinner at Paname, on the Bassin de la Villette. They have an amazing terrace on the water, but it fills up quickly when the sun is out so get there early if you want an outside-spot. I wore my summer-iest dress and was excited for dinner.  I'd only ever had drinks there before and was pleasantly surprised by the food! These shrimp tempura tacos were AMAZING. We had them as a starter but next time I'm getting a bigger portion as a main instead. Mmmmm.  Fish & chips for my main, which they brought out with a little espresso-cup of vinegar when I asked for some <3 very cute.  We ended the night with our feet in the bassin and the next day mom flew back home to Stockholm. <3
