LATELY.

This past week I've embraced my inner nerd and worked on a puppy-puzzle almost every night :)))  Super soothing activity! I put something on TV that I don't need to pay 100 percent attention to and then I just focus on finding that next piece of the puzzle. Perfect for getting relaxed before bed. This one was 500 pieces, the next one I have lined up is a thousand, the next one after that is two thousand :O  I've picked up "my" kids of course. This week was the last of it just being the three of us, starting tomorrow I'll be in a nanny share type situation with three kids instead of two. Wish me luck!  I'm obviously already SUPER excited for my favourite holiday of the year!!!!!!  We've started to work on props here at home :) We live in a bit of a tip at the moment (we keep collecting stuff that'll be perfect for our Halloween party, but we unfortunately also have to store that stuff here at home...), but I know it'll be worth it!  The guys have started the special drinks menu, I super generously offered to be the guinea pig :)))) so far the purple people eater-cocktail is my fave!  I've been out on the town with two favourites <3  Obligatory send to Richard-pic!  Second obligatory send to Richard-pic.. when he was last here we had a discussion about French "fashion", me pointing out that a lot of the men here favour red jeans. He didn't quite believe me at first, it quickly became a game of spot the red-pants, haha..  D. and I have frequented the vide greniers that are still going. On our way to one of them we stopped by a Korean grocery store, bought bright purple ice blocks and laughed at this amazing product description >< Especially one vide grenier last Sunday was a big hit! Got Halloween stuff, a couple of puzzles for me and these two lamps! They were 15 euros for the two, slightly heavy and uncomfortable to drag home on the metro but once I plugged them in at home it was 100% worth it :)  With the addition of the two lamps the fairy lights got to move out here, I LOVE it. I already love coming home at night but with this it made it even cozier than before. Perfect for dark, chilly autumn nights.   Cozying down in the dark :)))  On Thursday Linda was in town!!! Hopefully she'll very soon be back for a longer stretch of time, keeping all fingers crossed. We caught up on everything that's been going on over summer at Blackburn. Love that place.  Went for a wander through a little park and along the canal. D. played with a fun new toy.. :))  We need loads of branches for one of our Halloween-projects. Challenge accepted!  Hung out with new friend Vanessa, before she had to fly back to the States :( hopefully we meet again before long!  On Friday we had a bit of a party at work! Me, the family & their second nanny had champagne & sushi :) I was in a great mood 'cause it was finally cool enough outside to wear my new black fluff!! And also, champagne and sushi... hehehe.  When it was bedtime for the kids I headed out to the rooftop bar at Generator. Such a cool find!  Which finally brings us to today! A lazy Sunday at home. Duncan is doing the day shift at the bar so it's just me today. Made myself a fancy brekkie and am on my third cup of coffee :))) Hope you guys have had a good week???
