TUESDAY ON THE COAST.

Yesterday started with a BIG breakfast, I felt we needed it for our day out on the beach :) tricky cooking a full meal for two in a kitchen even smaller than ours, but I managed somehow!  Fast forward a few hours (you've already seen the quick beach-pics!) to post-ocean dip & back to our terrace for apero! With a glass of nice wine, two strong cheeses and a view of the ocean we were two content piggies.  Fast forward again to this pretty spectacular view. Apero hour was done and we were heading in to town for a cozy dinner near the harbour :)  We had booked the window table at Le Petit Bouchon, a cute little place just off the main drag.  Duncan always lets me choose where I want to sit before he sits down. It's little things like that that makes him a pretty fantastic boyfriend. <3  Can we have oysters? I asked.  Well of course we're having oysters! Answered Duncan <3  "drink without moderation". cute.  After oysters we both had entrecote, sadly only OK. But we had such a lovely night so it didn't matter all too much.  Then we wandered home along the beach, sat on our terrace stargazing with Pink Floyd playing on Spotify. A pretty great mini-vacation. Only downside? I underestimated the sun and have burnt myself to a little crisp and I also seem to have gotten some kind of eye infection :/ I'm hoping that my usual stick my head in the sand until it goes away-technique will work. Anyway, back in sunny Paris now, have just watched the sunset over the rooftops and my plan for the rest of the evening is a cool shower followed by falling asleep on the sofa in front of masterchef :)))
