Nails by: @tianakastrati / Lashes by @Minispa_ /Hair by @RapunzelofSweden HOW TO GET STARTEDI have worked as a professional photographer for over 1,5 year now I think. By professional I mean that I have clients and companies that I work for. I have focused on the Fashion Industry since I always have had a love for fashion. So if you are maybe a hobby photographer that want's to get serious in the business. This is my little guide to how to get you started part 1. NetworkingFirst off you need a good network. So do you know any other photographers? Do you know any models? Or perhaps a blogger? If you don't then you better start telling people that you work as a photographer now. If you're at a party, tell people about it. Start talking. If you do know someone in the business it's a perfect timing to call up that person and let them know what you want to do. If it's the photographer, maybe he/she can hook you up with someone or teach you some tips and tricks. If it's a model, perfect to start building your portfolio. If it's a blogger, take that persons outfit photos and ask them to tag you in the pictures. Don't be afraid to contact bloggers, a lot of them need photographers like you for outfit shoots. Work for freeThis may sound not so very exciting. But you are going to have to to some photoshoots for free. We call them trade shoots! it means that you and the model/blogger have a deal that you exchange favors. You get photos for your portfolio and they get photos to theirs. When it comes to companies that has money, then do not work for free if you don't feel that they can give you exposure that you need. A tip is to join facebook groups for photographers and models or people in the indestry. A great network in sweden is "The FashionHub"Part 2 coming soon..
