Should Christians enroll for insurances schemes?

The gospel of Jesus Christ   is about caring for others starting from what God has entrusted under our care. This is our immediate family members such as children, our couples, and other family members.  In order to do this, we ought to view life from the perspective of the psalmist when he said that the life of a man is like vapor which of course is abundant in the morning but latter evaporates as the evening approaches. This therefore calls for our preparedness knowing that we are not in this world forever and therefore our decisions should be focused on what we will leave behind for those whom we love and cherish. Solomon reminds us in Proverbs 13:22, that a good person will leave an inheritance to his children’s children. In this verse, I chose to believe that   Solomon was talking about investments indirectly. However, as we all know, there cannot be viable investments which can last for generations without having sound decisions. One of such decisions is being prepared for a calamity which might happen and dwindle either business or personal savings. For instance, Christians who engage in selling of vehicles, automobile body parts, and mechanic activities understand that there is a motor traders insurance.  This cover will protect them from any risks which might occur when doing their daily business activities. In case a vehicle   gets damaged while transporting it to a customer, the traders insurance will bear the responsibility of repairing the damages. This will exempt the business person from incurring huge costs which might dwindle his/her ability to expound the business and have enough capital to provide for the family and other needy people.  Therefore, I think it is appropriate for Christians to purchase insurance schemes. This does not depict any lack of faith to our creator when it comes to our businesses as well as health. By purchasing insurance schemes such as home cover, life insurance, health cover, motor trade insurance, and many others, we will be practicing the essence of generosity and care which is highly recommended in the bible. I know you might be wondering how this comes about.  Let take an example of a Christian who has enrolled for a life insurance where he contributes a certain amount of money.  Upon resting, the payments will be triggered and directed towards the area of choice as directed by the initial agreements between the insurer and the insured. These areas can either be family or charity organizations. In either cases, it is an act of generosity which shows that the deceased had a heart of giving and taking care of those in need as well as the family members left behind. However, we are gifted and blessed differently. Some will be able to purchase insurance covers while others will not. This does not mean those unable to purchase are not generous or they are against the idea of insurance. Absolutely no, it is all about capability and the ability to do that.
