MARILYN MANSON @ ACCOR HOTELS ARENA

Last Monday was rainy and cold, but that did not stop us from heading out to Bercy and join in the queue for......  MANSON!  I hadn't realised that it was divided up into "fosse normal" (normal standing spot) and "fosse or" (golden circle, closest to the stage) so had just gotten us two normal tickets, but we ended up standing right on the edge of the dividing fence, where we had no one from the golden circle in front of us - so perfect view throughout the whole gig!  He had a broken ankle, but that didn't stop him from doing close to his full regular stage show. Two guys dressed in scrubs were always right behind him, ready to help him get around/change costumes etc. Speaking of costume changes, I kind of want his whole wardrobe. Lots of leather, lace, corsets etc. Amazing.  Now I've heard very mixed reviews from this gig - I personally loved it. Great mix of old (almost passed out when This is the new shit came on) and new (Deep six <3 <3 <3), his voice still holds and he's got this kind of odd charisma that I feel draws people in. Now having said that, the crowd was pretty tame... I tried to party for everyone there, hehe. (see GIF below) Possibly during The beautiful people... also known as ultimate concert-happiness. :)))) There were props, different backdrops, lots of costume changes - the works!  I had seen him once before (at Hellfest a couple of years ago) and thought that this gig beat the first one by far - I'm already excited to see him again! (Next year!) Yesterday (one Monday after Manson) we went to another (GREAT) gig, but more about that another night....
