SATURDAY AT SWEDEN ROCK.

Saturday, and the last day, at the festival started with a hunt for sunnies for Simon and I. He found a pair in the end, sadly not these ><  I hugged this beauty for a while and quietly decided that I need a red leather jacket. Couldn't justify spending the money right in that moment though.. oh well. Bye pretty!  While the others kept shopping I scoped out the bus station for the next day. Was not looking forward to my very long journey home.  But that was still 24 hours away! Plenty of time for more gigs! Like this one, with what felt like 300 people on stage.  Hugged a bit by the Staropramen bar. Carro, my beloved Carro <3 We've known each other for a decade now (or is it slightly more??), never lived in the same country but are closer than ever. How lucky I am to have met this beautiful being who understands me and completes me like no one else. ❤ But enough sappy stuff! :') Simon channelled an old favourite pic, see below.  😂 Had some ribs! Yummy ribs, average sides. Watched Ritche Blackmore's Rainbow, which was so good it almost felt fake. It obviously wasn't, it was just extremely polished. Impressive, but dare I say it becomes a teeeeeensy bit dull..? (please don't kill me while I'm sleeping) (or while I'm awake) (please).  After Rainbow it was supposed to be time for the band that Carro had looked forward to the most during the whole festival: Behemoth. But they were stuck at the airport in Frankfurt :(((((( Tunisian band Myrath jumped in, with belly dancers, fire throwing and a whole sort of Eurovision vibe. Hmm.  Safe to say, we didn't stay long! While the others headed back to camp I stopped by the last stage, where a band called Blue Coupe were playing. Such a happy surprise!!  Turns out it's the founders of Blue Oyster Cult and the Alice Cooper band who have partnered up! They played a bunch of classics and seemed SO happy to be there!  I was so happy that I didn't miss this, a perfect happy end to the festival. They finished with Born to be wild and I got to jump around a tad more in the front row. Happy pig!  And that was it for this years festival! The next day I travelled for 14,5 hours... came home absolutely exhausted, disgusting and without voice. I'm squeezing in a few days work now, before I head off to the next festival... :D
