From Stockholm to Dakhla!

In May 2017, me & my husband decided to take a road trip to get to our vacation destination. He had already flown down to Guelmim in Morocco with our two boys, while I was in Stockholm to finish off my studies. I was supposed to fly down and unite with them when I was done, but he flew back home to surprise me. A couple of years ago, when it was only me and him, we went on our first road trip. (All of the other ones I’ve been on, wasn’t worth mentioning comparing to that one). We went all the way from Stockholm to his hometown in Morocco. Crossing Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, all the way through Spain and entering Morocco. It was the journey of my life. After having our two little boys, we really hadn’t been on a vacation trip alone for almost 5 (!) years. So, after he surprised me, by coming back home alone, he surprised me again. Let’s remake our Road trip! And of course, I was all for it! We had so much fun. Singing and talking, and sleeping in the car, haha, we felt just like teenagers again. We went even further this time, we went all the way to Dakhla, Western Sahara. That’s almost 6000 km! And it was even better than the first time. I hope you will enjoy some of my summer memories ❤ The morning after my first sand storm, poor car got a good exfoliation. The Sahara desert in Dakhla, Western Sahara. Astonishing, Dakhla Peninsula!  Me cooling of at the beach!
